CardChart.Fun is a small fan-made project, but it still needs to be clear about what information the site may handle in order to run accounts, save votes, power profiles, support discussions, show ads, and provide outbound marketplace links. This Privacy Policy is meant to explain that in plain language.
This page describes what CardChart.Fun may collect or receive, how that information may be used, what may become public through site features, and how to contact the project about privacy questions or deletion requests.
Depending on how you use the site, CardChart.Fun may collect or receive:
CardChart.Fun uses a small number of first-party cookies, local storage entries, and similar browser technologies. They fall into four practical categories:
Optional measurement and marketing technologies are controlled through the site's cookie settings banner. Necessary storage remains on because the website cannot reliably operate without it.
For example, CardChart.Fun may store a consent-preferences cookie such as ccf_cookie_prefs and, when measurement is enabled, a first-party visitor identifier such as ccf_visitor_id.
The site may also honor browser privacy signals where supported. For example, if a browser sends a Global Privacy Control style signal, CardChart.Fun may keep marketing technologies off even if broader optional settings would otherwise allow them.
Information may be used to:
Some information is intended to be public or semi-public by design. Usernames, avatars, public profile sections, matchup comments, and other user-submitted content may be visible to other users or visitors. If you choose to participate in debates or maintain a public-facing profile, that content may appear on public pages.
Other information is primarily account-side and used to power your own experience. The exact visibility of some profile or collection-related features may depend on current settings and how the site exposes those sections at a given time.
CardChart.Fun may display ads and may also use affiliate or attribution links for some outbound marketplace buttons. For example, the site may link out to third-party marketplaces such as TCGplayer, and those links may include tracking or attribution technology supplied by third-party partners.
Those marketing and affiliate technologies are optional within CardChart.Fun's cookie settings. If they are turned off, the site may still show ordinary outbound marketplace links, but related ad or affiliate attribution technology may not load.
If you click an ad, an affiliate link, or an outbound marketplace link, the third-party service may receive request information such as your device or browser details, referrer data, and the fact that you clicked the link. Those third-party services may also set or read cookies or similar technologies according to their own privacy policies.
CardChart.Fun does not control the privacy practices of those third-party destinations, and purchases are completed on those external sites, not on CardChart.Fun.
CardChart.Fun may rely on third-party services to operate major parts of the site. This can include hosting, infrastructure, database, authentication, email, ad, affiliate, card-data, pricing, and marketplace providers.
Depending on the feature, that may include services or providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Google, Discord, Apple, TCGplayer, Impact, card-data providers, pricing providers, and advertising providers. The exact set of providers may change over time as the product evolves.
If you use a third-party sign-in option, that provider may process information according to its own policy. If you click through to an external store or ad destination, that destination also operates under its own policy.
Information may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the website, maintain rankings and account history, support public profile features, resolve disputes, enforce site rules, comply with legal obligations, and keep reasonable backups or logs.
Different data may be retained for different lengths of time depending on what the data is for and whether it is tied to public content, account operations, security, or support needs.
As a general operating rule, cookie preference records may be kept for up to 12 months, first-party measurement records may be retained for up to 13 months, and aggregated reporting may be kept longer when it is no longer tied to an identifiable browser or account.
You can choose not to create an account, limit what profile information you provide, and stop using the site at any time. You can also clear browser storage locally, though that may reset settings or UI state stored in your browser.
You can also revisit the site's cookie settings at any time to change optional measurement or marketing choices.
If you want to ask about account deletion, profile data, or another privacy concern, contact ekolimits@gmail.com. CardChart.Fun will review reasonable requests in light of technical, legal, security, and moderation needs.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time as CardChart.Fun changes. When that happens, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised update date.
